When we first shared our support for M.D.H. Jayawardana Maha Vidyalaya’s smart classroom initiative, we knew this was the beginning of an ongoing partnership. Education transformation takes time, resources, and a community coming together, and we’re proud to play our part.
Today, we’re sharing an update on how we’ve continued to support these 1,000+ students.
While smart boards and digital tools are transforming how students learn at M.D.H. Jayawardana Maha Vidyalaya, the Old Students’ Association identified another critical need: proper furniture. Many students have been studying on worn, broken desks and chairs – some even sitting on the floor during lessons.
As part of our ongoing commitment, Webco Talent has contributed to the purchase of new chairs and desks for the school. Together with other supporters of the project, we’re helping ensure every student has a comfortable, proper learning environment to make the most of these upgraded classrooms.
Even the most advanced technology can’t reach its full potential when students don’t have a proper place to learn. Quality furniture supports student health, improves concentration, and shows these young people that their education matters. It’s a fundamental piece of creating an environment where students can truly thrive.

We’re working alongside the Old Students’ Association to address both the innovative technology needs and the fundamental infrastructure that makes quality education possible.
